The History of Spintex Knights Sporting Club
Spintex Knights Sporting Club was founded on 19th December, 2018 by Dr. Eric Opoku-Antwi when he returned to Ghana after 9 years of studies in China. From the very beginning, the idea was simple and straightforward: use sports as a medium of promoting ambition, hardwork and excellence, tenets he picked up while training children in China for the NBA as a part-time job.
Today, Spintex Knights stands as a beacon of excellence and an example for many sports organizations in Ghana and the West African sub region.
When we decided to build Spintex Knights Sporting Club, we were clear about one thing. We were not interested in creating just another team.
We set out to build something that would last. Something that could compete at the highest level, represent its community properly, and grow into an institution people believe in.
