On the same night we secured our third consecutive ABL championship, three of our Nobles walked away with the league’s biggest individual awards.
As we celebrated another championship, individual excellence within Spintex Knights Sporting Club was also on full display. Our players and coaching staff were recognized across the league’s end-of-season honors, completing a clean sweep of the most coveted awards.
Rookie of the Year — Abdul Aziz
Our very own Abdul Aziz was voted Fans’ Rookie of the Year in the men’s category, narrowly edging out fellow Noble Luak Ruai. The award marks the second consecutive season a player from our camp has claimed the honor, following Alexander Anaba’s win in 2024.
Fans’ MVP — Benjamin “Locker” Omare
When James Amotoe completed his early-season move to UGB in Rwanda, the question across the league was simple: Who would step up?
Our vice captain Benjamin “Locker” Omare answered that question all season long. His leadership and dazzling performances made him a fan favorite and ultimately earned him the Fans’ MVP award in the ABL Division 1 men’s league for the 2025 season.
Best Men’s Coach — Selorm Thomas
Our head coach Selorm Thomas was also recognized, winning Fans’ Best Men’s Coach in the ABL Division 1 men’s league for the second consecutive year. He secured the award with an overwhelming majority, ahead of Samori Camara of TUSK and Jeffery Dzimate of Braves of GRA.
