Another year to defend our title as the champions of the Accra Basketball League
We enter the 2026 Accra Basketball League (ABL) season with a clear objective: to secure a fourth consecutive league title and extend a run that has defined our standard in Ghanaian basketball. The “Count to 4” defines our campaign. Three successive championships have set the benchmark, and our focus now is on sustaining that level over the course of a demanding season. In a league where opponents continue to evolve tactically, maintaining consistency in execution, discipline, and game management will be critical for us.
The competition
Every team will approach fixtures against us with heightened preparation, prioritizing defensive structure, controlling tempo, and limiting scoring runs. In response, we will rely on the system that has brought us this far: cohesion, efficient ball movement, and defensive organization. Equally important will be our execution in key moments.
Reinforcing our culture
As margins tighten, our ability to manage late-game situations through composure, shot selection, and defensive stops will play a decisive role. Our experience in high-pressure situations positions us well, but sustained focus across all four quarters will remain essential. Moving from contenders to consistent champions requires discipline and intent. For us, each game is a standalone challenge within a longer campaign, and our objective is to maintain the standard that has come to define who we are.
The Count to 4: Round One Schedule
Our campaign begins on April 22 against BSA, setting the tone for what is a demanding opening stretch. From there, we face rivals Coldstore (May 1) and Navy (May 9), before closing out the first phase of the season against Braves, Tusk, and Tudu Magic. The run continues into June with key matchups against Air Force, Reformers, and UG, fixtures that will test our consistency across the schedule.
The objective remains clear. The Count to 4 is underway.
