This was the matchup everyone circled. A chance to go up against Al Ahly Benghazi — one of the continent’s elite — and measure ourselves at the highest level. Ahead of the game, our head coach Selorm Thomas set the tone: take care of the ball, stay locked in, and play like we belong here.
A Tough Night
The game did not unfold in our favor. Benghazi controlled the contest from start to finish, punishing mistakes and setting the tempo throughout. We were unable to find sustained rhythm, and the gap widened as the game progressed.
By the final whistle, the scoreboard read: Spintex Knights 63 — 88 Al Ahly Benghazi. A tough result that left no room for excuses.
Still in the Fight
Despite the setback, our BAL hopes remain alive. One game now defines our path. A rematch against JCA stands between us and qualification.
